hey, 47 years of the SJ Parade. If you are new to North Portland,its small town Americana in an urban neighborhood. If you have been around for a while, you undoubtedly have a favorite parade story. Starts at noon, from Lombard and Burr through the town center, and disbands at the community center. There is a street fair downtown till 6PM. Applaud the kids marching, hold your nose at the hotrods breaking the tires loose, heckle the politicians.. enjoy the zaniness.. its an annual ritual.
